In-person meetings are held at various locations within Ventura County on the 1st Tuesday of February, April, June, September, & November, beginning at 5:30pm.

Ventura County Fire Chief Dustin Gardner is the Guest Speaker for the October 3, 2023 meeting. Kai Luoma joined the Ventura LAFCo in 2007 and has served as Executive Officer since 2014.  Before joining LAFCo, Kai was a senior planner for the City of Santa Clarita, where one of his responsibilities was overseeing the city’s frequent annexation proposals.  He has also been a planner with the City of Roseville, Nevada County, and San Joaquin County.  Kai holds a bachelor’s degree in geography…
